Privacy policy

Agami Summit 1.0 registration. When you register for the Summit we collect: your full name, email address, phone number, institution, class or year, district and division, and the competition tracks you enter. If you are a school student (Class 6–12) we also collect a guardian's name and phone number. If you enter the Business Case Competition we collect your team name and, for each team-mate, their name, institution and phone number. If someone referred you, we store the referral code you used.

Consent and preferences. We record that you agreed to register, and separately whether you opted in to updates about future Agami events. The two are never bundled.

Sponsor enquiries. If you send a sponsorship enquiry we collect your name, organisation, role, email, phone and your message.

Notify-me. If you ask to be told when your division's chapter opens, we collect your email address and the division you chose.

Membership. Membership sign-up currently runs on a Google Form, not on this site. What that form collects is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, and the responses reach Agami as a spreadsheet.

We do not ask for national ID numbers, payment details, exam results, religion or health information. Registration is free, so there is no payment step at all.

Event operations: building the participant list per track, printing ID cards and wristbands, and running the QR check-in at Day 1, 8:00 – 9:00 AM, Main — Registration & Reporting.

Confirmation: sending you one confirmation email containing your ticket code and QR, and — if the programme changes — telling you about it.

Guardian contact: so we can reach a parent or guardian of a school student during a three-day event on a college campus.

Referral attribution: crediting the member whose code you used.

We do not use registration data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it. Ever.

Registration records are kept for 12 months after the event ends, then deleted or reduced to anonymous counts that cannot identify anyone. Sponsor enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for 12 months afterwards.

Confirming: the 12-month period is our working default and is still being settled with the founding team. If it changes, this page changes with it.

Nothing is sold, rented or traded.

Sponsors and partners receive aggregate numbers only — how many students registered, per category, per track, per division. No sponsor receives names, phone numbers, email addresses or institutions of individual participants.

Resend is the email provider that sends your confirmation email, so your name and email address pass through it.

Meta Pixel measures which pages and buttons people use on this site, which means Meta receives standard web analytics events from your browser. How to switch it off is in the next clause.

Hosting. The site and its database run on servers rented by Agami. Registration data is stored there.

We would also share data if we were legally required to — for example a lawful request from a Bangladeshi authority.

Registration draft. While you fill in the registration form, your answers are saved in your own browser under agami:register:draft so a dropped connection does not cost you the form. That copy never leaves your device, expires after 14 days, and you can clear it any time by clearing site data for this site.

Meta Pixel. The Pixel sets cookies and reports page views and key actions to Meta. To opt out: block third-party cookies or use a tracker-blocking extension, use your browser's private window, or adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. Blocking it does not break anything on this site — registration works with it switched off.

We do not use advertising cookies of our own, and there is no cross-site profiling by Agami.

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email agami.info@gmail.com from the address you registered with, or call +880 1853-102104. We aim to answer within 14 days.

Deleting your registration before the event means we can no longer check you in, so we will tell you that before we do it.

You can unsubscribe from event updates using the link in any email we send, without affecting your registration.

Most Summit participants are minors. For school students (Class 6–12) a guardian's name and phone number is required at registration, and a guardian may email or call us on the student's behalf to see, correct or delete that student's data.

Data is sent over HTTPS, the database is not publicly reachable, and access is limited to the Agami team members who need it to run the event. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

This is a working version and will change as the founding team settles the open points marked above. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version you are reading. Material changes will be announced on the Agami Facebook page and the member Telegram channel.
